Chorus Competitions

The Atlanta Vocal Project strives to always become better with every rehearsal. One way to judge our progress is through the competitions. Each contest sponsored by the Barbershop Harmony Society is judged by a team of experts in 3 categories: Music, Presentation, and Singing.  Each judge may award up to 100 points for each of the two songs performed. While some scoring differences between contests are caused by the subjective nature of judging an artistic performance, the system is designed to offer consistent scoring criteria from contest to contest.
