Under the direction of Clay Hine, Atlanta Vocal Project is one of Atlanta's finest a cappella choruses. Our vision is to enrich lives in every generation in our surrounding communities through performances, music education, school system programs, and community activities through the life long benefits of a cappella harmony singing and performances.

Atlanta Vocal Project is always looking for men who share their love of singing and camaraderie. If you’re interested in the satisfaction and enjoyment that comes from excellent singing through hard work, this may be the place for you. AVP rehearses every Thursday evening from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. Any exceptions to this are noted in the calendar. Use the link at the left of this page if you need directions. Contact our Membership VP, Harland Ragle, at inquiry@atlantavocalproject.com if you have any questions or call 877-AVP-1323 (877-287-1323) and leave a message. Someone will call you back shortly.

AVP enjoys performing and we also enjoy singing in vocal competitions. In July 2009 we placed 12th in an international competition between 29 choruses from the United States, Canada, England, Sweden, and New Zealand. In that competition we represented the Dixie District, having beaten other choruses from Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina for the privilege. We are proud to be the 2008 Dixie District Champions of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

If your organization would like to provide the best in a cappella entertainment, consider Atlanta Vocal Project. We can provide a full show or complement other entertainment with a full chorus, a Very Large Quartet (VLQ), or a quartet.

If your focus is musical education, Atlanta Vocal Project can provide workshops or demonstrations to complete your music program. Please contact our Youth In Harmony VP, Jim Moore, at jim.moore@atlantavocalproject.com

The Atlanta Vocal Project would like to thank the Fulton County Arts Council for their financial support through their 2009/2010 Small and Emerging Organizations Grant Program.
